September 11, 2016, marks the 15th anniversary of 9/11.
A day and memory that will forever be seared into the minds of Americans everywhere who remember that day.
Those too young to remember, know the importance of that day as all of us born after World War Two know about Pearl Harbor.
America attacked.
Attacked by terrorists in the air as was the case on December 7th, 1941.
15 years ago, thousands of lives were lost in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C.
We will never forget the Twins Towers on fire and crumbling down to earth.
We will never forget the Pentagon being hit and the reports of another plane going down in Shanksville.
It was a day that we will never forget.
It was a day that we will always remember where we were and what we were doing.
Just like when John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
We remember every moment like it was yesterday.
Every year on the anniversary of 9/11, we pause and reflect.
We think of those who were lost.
We think of what America lost.
We never forget.
Lest we forget.
